Nissan announced the premiere of the updated Truck-Based SUV Terra
Nissan has published a short teaser video of the mysterious new product, which will be presented on November 25. According to Motor1, we are talking about an updated truck-based SUV Terra, which is built on the basis of the Navara pickup truck. However, there is no official confirmation of this information yet.
The Navara pickup itself was restyled in early November. It is expected that similar changes are waiting for the Terra SUV. However, so far only the new LED optics of the future model can be seen on the video. Most likely, the car will also get a modified grille and other bumpers.
Technical characteristics of the updated SUV are still kept secret. For the market of Southeast Asia and Australia, the pre-styling Nissan Terra is equipped with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder diesel engine that develops 190 HP and 450 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed manual or seven-speed automatic transmission. The SUV has an all-wheel-drive system, as well as a seven-seat interior.
The model for the Chinese market has a five-seat interior, and only a 2.5-liter gasoline engine is available as a power unit. The power of this unit is 184 horsepower.
