Mercedes brought the most luxurious version of the S-Class to the final tests
The new Mercedes-Maybach S-Class sedan will be shown to the public for the first time at the auto show in Guangzhou, China on November 20.
Mercedes-Benz has begun final tests of the most luxurious modification of the S-Class sedan, which will be released under the Maybach brand. Spy photos showing the car with minimal camouflage were published by Carscoops. According to them, the premiere of the new car will take place before the end of November this year. Most likely, the car will be shown to the public for the first time at an exhibition in Guangzhou, China on November 20.
In terms of overall dimensions, the new product surpasses the usual S-Class. In addition, the car will receive a new radiator grille with vertical slats, Maybach badges on the rear pillars, chrome decor, and another exhaust system in the GLS style.
Photos of the interior have not yet been published. According to Carscoops, the car will be equipped with luxurious seats with massage function, tablets for the rear passengers and numerous comfort features.
All technical characteristics of the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class are still kept secret. According to unofficial data, the range of new engines will include a 6.0-liter V12 gasoline engine. The power of the unit will be 630 horsepower. Also, the appearance of a 4.0-liter V8 unit with a return of 503 horsepower is not excluded.
The new S-Class was presented on September 2. The car made its debut in short and long wheelbase versions and became the first production car to be equipped with frontal airbags for rear passengers.
