Google My business will start to notify you by email when local listings suspended
Google will start notifying companies that their Google My Business listings are suspended. Innovation will come into force around the world.
Previously, business owners could find out that their pages were blocked by logging into their Google My Business accounts or noticing a drop in traffic. Now Google will start sending notifications about blocking pages by email. The email will contain a link to the "rules for publishing company information in Google" and a form with a request to restore company data in GMB.
Google will not disclose the reasons for the block. According to the search engine, this information can be incorrectly used by people who create fake pages and spam for Google Maps.
Recall that earlier Google as part of the experiment began to show thumbnails of images in the results.
