Presented the first smart watch on the new Snapdragon Wear 4100 processor
Mobvoi introduced the TicWatch Pro 3 smartwatch based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100 mobile platform, designed specifically for wearable electronics. Thanks to the new chip, the gadget, according to the vendor, is able to provide a significant increase in performance compared to competitors' solutions, as well as a long working time on a single battery charge.
The company claims that the updated processor is 85% faster in computing operations, and the graphics chip of the new product is able to provide a two-fold increase in power compared to the previous model of the Snapdragon Wear line.
The TicWatch Pro 3 smartwatch received a round steel case with a diameter of 48 mm, protected from water and dust according to the IP68 standard. The capacity of the battery is 577 mAh declared battery life of up to 72 hours of active use and up to 45 days in an energy-efficient mode.
The accessory is equipped with a heart rate monitor and a blood oxygen level sensor and has received a number of pre-installed applications for tracking the user's physical activity. The device also supports contactless payments via Google Pay using an NFC chip. The price of the new product is $299.
