New Amazfit GTR 2: edge-to-edge display, a pulse oximeter and NFC
Huami has introduced a new branded smartwatch Amazfit GTR 2. The gadget received a classic round case with a frameless display covered with curved protective glass. In addition to the standard functions of wearable electronics, one of the key characteristics of the device is the presence of a hardware sensor for determining the level of oxygen in the blood.
Compared to the first generation of smartwatches, the GTR 2 has an increased display up to 1.39 inches, which now occupies almost the entire area of the front panel. Its resolution is 454x454 pixels with a pixel density of 326 ppi. In addition, the manufacturer has significantly expanded the internal memory of the device for storing music or multimedia files. According to Huami, the owner of GTR 2 will be able to download from 300 to 600 songs in MP3 format.
The gadget is equipped with a built-in speaker and wireless modules Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC for contactless payment, as well as Wi-Fi. In addition to the heart rate monitor, the GTR 2 has an integrated pulse oximeter, which the accessory owner can use to determine the level of oxygen in the blood.
