HUAWEI has introduced a new fitness tracker Band B6. It features a curved screen, numerous physical activity tracking features, and the latest version of Bluetooth. The main feature of the device was the ability to use it as a wireless headset for making calls.
HUAWEI Band B6 is made in a stainless steel case and features a curved 1.53-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 460x188 pixels. The tracker is based on the proprietary processor HiSilicon Kirin A1 with Bluetooth 5.2 support. It is stated that the device can maintain a connection with a smartphone at a distance of up to 150 meters.
Among the functions of HUAWEI Band B6 are notifications about incoming messages and calls, control of music playback and camera on the smartphone, weather display, alarm clock, and others. A unique feature of the tracker is the ability to remove it from the strap for use as a Bluetooth headset. To do this, the device is equipped with a built-in earphone and support for noise reduction, along with algorithms to improve the sound quality when talking.
The device can also track blood oxygen saturation, heart rate, sleep quality, stress level, menstrual cycle in women, and supports 9 sports modes, including running, cycling indoors and outdoors, walking, and others.
The claimed battery life is 8 hours of talk time. Supports fast charging via USB Type-C, which allows you to get 4 hours of talk time in 10 minutes. The time of work in the fitness tracker mode is not reported.
HUAWEI Band B6 will go on sale August 6 for $143 for the basic sports version with a silicone strap. The option with a leather bracelet will cost $171, and with a metal one - $214.
