Huami unveils premium Zepp Z smartwatch
Huami has expanded its line of smartwatches with a model called Zepp Z. The manufacturer positions the new product in a titanium alloy case as a premium device. In addition to supporting a voice assistant, the accessory has the functions of round-the-clock monitoring of heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, and stress levels. In addition, the device is notable for its long battery life.
The gadget received a round AMOLED display with a diagonal of 1.39 inches with a resolution of 454x454 pixels. Out of the box, the user has access to 50 virtual dials with the ability to upload their own background images. The list of smartwatch sensors includes a pulse oximeter, heart rate monitor, gyroscope, barometer, accelerometer, and light sensor.
The new product also supports the functions of the Amazon Alexa voice assistant, which allows you to not only interact directly with the gadget but also manage compatible devices as part of the smart home ecosystem. In addition, the watch has its own virtual assistant that can recognize 58 voice commands. The claimed battery life of the model, equipped with a battery capacity of 340 mAh, is up to 15 days.
The accessory, which received the Bluetooth 5.0 module, supports working with devices running Android (5.0 and higher) and iOS (10.0 and later). The Huami Zepp Z will go on sale later this month at a price of $349. Later, the company promised to release a modification of the smartwatch with an ECG function.
