HUAWEI introduced the MatePad 10.8 tablet with a 2K display and Kirin 990 processor
HUAWEI has introduced a new generation of MatePad 10.8 tablets. The device is based on the latest Kirin 990 processor, equipped with a large display with 2K resolution, and also provides work with a stylus.
Huawei MatePad 10.8 is based on the powerful HUAWEI Kirin 990 processor, manufactured using a 7-nanometer process technology, which replaced the Kirin 810. A special feature of the platform is the presence of a subprocessor and a 16-core Mali-G76 graphics chip. It is noteworthy that the tablet supports the latest wireless standard Wi-Fi 6+, providing a maximum data transfer speed of up to 2400 Mbit / s.
MediaPad 10.8 is equipped with a 2K display with an aspect ratio of 16:10 and a pixel density of 280 PPI. The gadget is supplied in several configurations, differing in the amount of internal memory (64, 128, or 256 GB), as well as the presence or absence of an LTE modem.
Among the special features of the device, it is worth noting the presence of stereo speakers that support Histen 6.1 technology to provide panoramic sound. The tablet's built-in battery capacity is 7500 mAh, which is enough for 7 hours of gaming, 11 hours of video playback, or 10 hours of surfing from one charge cycle. MediaPad 10.8 also supports fast charging technology up to 22.5W.
The cost of a tablet in the 6/64 GB configuration without LTE support is $342. A similar model in the 6/128 GB version is priced at $399, and a special kit with a keyboard and 256 GB of memory will cost $514. MatePad 10.8 with 6/128 GB of memory and support for 4G networks costs $457. Sales of the device will start on August 13.
