Xiaomi announced NextClass.ai NX1 Learning Tablet with a large display
NextClass.ai NX1 tablet appeared on the crowdfunding platform of Xiaomi Youpin with an unusually large display for its class, whose diagonal is 15.6 inches. The new product with an adjustable stand is notable for an advanced speaker system, a camera with a rotary mechanism, and a wide range of interfaces.
The gadget is equipped with a 15.6-inch capacitive touch screen with a blue filter that reduces the load on the eyes. The device also supports automatic brightness adjustment depending on the lighting and warns the user if they move too close to the display. The new Android-based firmware includes a number of apps for learning.
The tablet's performance is controlled by a Quad-core processor (Cortex-A55) in combination with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. A dedicated neural computing unit (NPU) is also provided as part of the SoC. The list of interfaces NextClass.ai NX1 includes Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz + 5GHz) and Bluetooth 4.2 modules, as well as USB Type-A, HDMI, and LAN connectors.
The device received two cameras, one of which is located in a cylindrical block with the ability to adjust the angle of inclination, the other - on the tablet body. The device is also equipped with an adjustable stand, thanks to which you can choose any angle of inclination of the gadget to the table. For audio features, the NextClass.ai NX1 features stereo speakers on the front panel and an Omni-directional array of microphones.
The device comes with a stylus and under the terms of crowdfunding will cost buyers $250. The retail price of the new product at the end of fundraising will be $338.
