The updated Samsung One UI 3.0 interface was shown in the first screenshots
Samsung recently announced a new user interface for mobile devices, One UI 3.0, based on Android 11. It is now available on Galaxy S20 series devices as part of a closed beta for developers. However, Max Weinbach from the Android Police portal has already tried out the new firmware and shared the first screenshots.
It is important to note that One UI 3.0 is still under active development, so a lot may change before the stable version is released. Moreover, Samsung itself has not yet officially announced any innovations compared to the current version of One UI 2.5.
You should not wait for drastic interface changes from One UI 3.0. As you can see from the screenshots, Samsung has slightly redesigned the current version. This is especially noticeable in the notification center and quick settings menu. The player for multimedia management was redrawn, and the icons of quick settings in expanded form moved even more to the lower end.
Other innovations in One UI 3.0 include the ability to quickly add widgets for a specific application by long pressing on its icon, turn off the screen with a double tap in an empty area, more settings for customizing the lock screen, new Always On Display widgets, improved contact search and quick removal of duplicate ones. trash can for recently deleted messages. It also added the ability to revert edited images to their original versions and improved zooming of the moon.
A stable release date has not yet been announced.
