Google has redesigned the Android TV interface
Google continues to develop its own operating system adapted for smart TVs and multimedia set-top boxes. The latest update to Android TV has changed the OS's home screen interface, which now allows you to quickly access subscriptions, streaming services, and popular apps.
After the update, Android TV has a feed with frequently launched programs and popular TV shows. It is accessed directly from the start screen, so the user does not need to waste time searching for relevant content.
In addition, the operating system now offers teasers of the most popular films and shows, selected based on user interests. Optionally, you can customize the display of movies and series from the selected streaming services by linking them to your Google account.
Finally, the new version of Android TV opens up access to subscriptions to paid services. In the event that, while navigating the menu of a smart TV or set-top box, content posted on a site to which the user does not have access was launched, Google has simplified the registration setup. It is enough to select the "Subscribe and install" item, after which the linking to the Google account and the choice of the payment method will be carried out automatically. This method will significantly reduce the time for entering account and bank card data using the remote control.
The update of the Android TV operating system is spreading in waves in different regions and is not yet available on all devices.
