Xiaomi launched the beta distribution of the global version of MIUI 12
Last month, Xiaomi announced that It will start sending out a "beta" of the global version of the new MIUI 12 firmware at the end of June. However, some users have already started to report the availability of the long-awaited update for a number of smartphones from the first "wave".
The first to get the opportunity to try MIUI 12 were the owners of Xiaomi Mi9, Mi 9T, and Mi 9T Pro, who had previously left a request for testing in the proprietary Mi Community application. To install the firmware, you need an authorized Mi account, but experienced users can get around this limitation through TWRP.
