Pokemon Unite - the new free MOBA game for Android and iOS

The Pokemon Company has announced the Pokemon Unite, a new mobile game in the MOBA genre, developed in collaboration with Tencent Games.

Pokemon Unite is coming to Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS. The game will put two teams of five players against each other - they will strive to gain experience, complete goals, and score points that will eventually lead them to victory.

Some creatures in the game, such as Charmander, Bulbasaur, and Squirtle, will develop during each match, giving you access to new skills and abilities, similar to traditional MOBA, such as DOTA 2 or League of Legends. Pokemon Unite differs from the latter in that it attracts a younger and more diverse audience.

Players earn points by defeating enemies and moving around the entire map, which consists of various environments with their own distinct terrain. You can even find wild pokemon roaming around that can be defeated in exchange for experience and extra buffs. The full experience will include several maps inspired by the regions of different generations of pokemon and it will definitely be a great way to please fans.

Once you get enough points, you must go to one of the many areas located on the other side of the card and cash them out, although it is possible that they will be guarded by the enemy. To win, you need to work with your friends and come up with smart strategies and workarounds.

Pokemon Unite will be a free and cross-platform game on Nintendo Switch and mobile devices. Most likely, there will be in-game purchases for real money.
