Budget LG K42 gets military-grade protection and original design
LG has introduced a new branded entry-level smartphone called the LG K42. The key feature of the model is the unusual design of the back cover — it allows the owner to customize the device independently using replaceable elements. In addition, the device meets the military standard MIL-STD-810G and is able to survive a variety of external influences.
LG K42 received a 6.6-inch display with HD+ resolution and an 8-megapixel front camera embedded in the center. The "core" of the device is the MediaTek Helio P22 processor with support for 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory with support for microSD cards.
The back cover of the smartphone provides the ability to change special design stickers, presented by LG as a Unique Wave Pattern. According to the manufacturer's idea, by updating the decorative element, users can significantly change the design of the device without making any modifications to its design.
The main camera module of the device is represented by sensors of 13, 5, 2, and 2 megapixels. The built-in battery capacity is 4000 mAh. It is noteworthy that, despite belonging to the budget line, the LG K42 is protected according to the military MIL-STD-810G standard. Other features of the model include support for 3D Sound Engine surround sound technology when playing music through an analog 3.5 mm audio jack.
