Microsoft showed how to use the dual-screen Surface Duo

On the eve of the launch of sales of the Surface Duo smartphone, Microsoft presented a series of videos that demonstrate to potential buyers the features of working with the device equipped with two displays. A selection of training videos can be useful even for experienced Android users — the process of using the gadget is really different from the usual interaction with traditional ones.

On its official YouTube channel, Microsoft published seven videos at once. In addition to the principles of working with the main camera, the company touched upon such topics as customizing the home screen, using voice mail, using the fingerprint scanner, connecting the device to Wi-Fi HotSpots, resetting the smartphone to factory settings, as well as features of charging the gadget.

The key feature of the Surface Duo is the presence of two identical 5.5-inch screens with a resolution of 1800x1350 pixels, which are combined into a single panel with a diagonal of 8.1 inches. The model has a single 11-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The built-in battery capacity of the smartphone, built on the basis of the Snapdragon 855 processor, is 3566 mAh.

The launch of sales of the Surface Duo is scheduled for September 10. The basic version of the device will cost buyers $1399.
