Sony's new flagship is shown in a high-quality image
Next week, Berlin will host the annual consumer electronics show IFA 2020, where the presentation of new Sony smartphones is expected. And although the company itself has not yet made any announcements, there are more and more leaks on the network confirming this. In particular, the authoritative insider Evan Blass published an image of the device.
The rendered image shows a Sony Xperia 5 II. As with the Xperia 1 and Xperia 1 II, the differences from last year's Xperia 5 are minimal. One of the main ones is the inscription, Zeiss T* in the camera area. It is possible that the new product will differ from its predecessor in size.
Judging from the image, the Xperia 5 II will retain an elongated screen with an aspect ratio of 21:9, a separate fingerprint scanner on the right side, and a dedicated button for controlling the camera located there. The main camera, as in its predecessor, is triple. However, the render does not show the ToF sensor that the Xperia 1 II was equipped with.
Nothing is reported about the technical characteristics of the new product, but judging from last year, the Xperia 5 II will not differ much from the Xperia 1 II.
