The main camera of HUAWEI Mate 40 Pro was shown in a real photo
HUAWEI's next flagship smartphone will be the Mate 40 Pro. Long before the announcement, the gadget was already lit up on various renderers, but this time insiders managed to get high-quality "live" images of the camera module, which will become one of its key elements.
According to photos posted on the social network Weibo, HUAWEI plans to use four sensors embedded in a circular block that will supposedly be covered with protective glass. At the same time, according to insiders, the device will get three cameras and an auxiliary module - it can be a depth sensor or laser autofocus.
According to a recent statement from HUAWEI executives, the Mate 40 smartphone line will be the last one built on the Kirin mobile platform. This decision is connected with the introduction of new sanctions from the United States, because of which HUAWEI stops the production of flagship processors at TSMC factories.
It is rumored that Mate 40 and Mate 40 Pro may get different versions of branded EMUI shells. For the basic device, the company will prepare EMUI 10. X, but the older model will get the latest EMUI 11 build. It is expected that both smartphones will be presented in September, but HUAWEI representatives have not yet disclosed the official date of the presentation.
