Microsoft has announced the final specifications of the Suface Duo and announced a launch date

Ten months after the presentation, Microsoft has finally released the official specifications of its Surface Duo dual-screen Android smartphone, its price, as well as its launch date.

Microsoft did not change the technical characteristics of Surface Duo - the smartphone will receive a flagship filling by the standards of the second half of 2019. The Snapdragon 855 is used as a platform. The device has 6 GB of RAM and 256 GB of built-in memory. The gadget supports 4G/LTE networks but is not compatible with 5G.


The resolution of the two OLED displays of the smartphone is identical and is 1800x1350 pixels with a diagonal of 5.5 inches and an aspect ratio of 4: 3. In tablet mode, the diagonal reaches 8.1 inches, and the resolution rises to 2700x1800 pixels.



Microsoft Surface Duo has a single 11-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The sensor allows you to record videos in 4K resolution at up to 60 frames per second. The built-in battery capacity is 3566 mAh. The gadget works under the control of the Android operating system.

Surface Duo is priced at $1399. Now the new product is open for pre-order, and retail sales of the device will start on September 10. It is noteworthy that a protective bumper is included with the smartphone.
