Redmi 9 fully declassified by massive leak
The announcement of Redmi 9 has not yet taken place, but all the details about the new smartphone have already appeared on the network. One of the online stores published official promotional materials that reveal the design, technical characteristics, and all the key features of the device.
As previously expected, the Redmi 9 will resemble last year's Redmi Note 8 Pro. It will get a teardrop-shaped screen and a Quad camera with a fingerprint scanner on the back. The camera module is visually highlighted in a circle — a similar solution was previously used in the Redmi K30 (aka Poco X2). The back cover, according to the description and images, will have a textured surface.
According to the presented data, Redmi 9 will receive a 6.53-inch display with a Full HD + resolution, an eight-core MediaTek Helio G80 processor, 2/3/4 GB of RAM, a 34/64 GB drive, a 5020 mAh battery, USB Type-C and 3.5 mm connectors, an IR port for controlling household appliances and an additional microphone for noise reduction. The description says that on a single charge, the device can work for 19 hours in video playback mode, 34 hours in phone call mode, and 14 hours as a navigator.
The main camera of the smartphone will be represented by four modules with the main 13 MP, ultra-wide-angle 8 MP, 5-megapixel macro lens, and a 2 MP depth sensor for blurring the background in portrait mode.
The presentation of Redmi 9 is expected in the near future. Previous leaks indicate that the price of the smartphone will be $140 for the 3 + 32 GB version and $150 for the 4 + 64 GB version. The 2 + 32 GB option is probably even cheaper.
