Budget Honor 8S (2020) with Face Unlock priced at $126

The HONOR brand has expanded the range of branded smartphones with the release of a new model called HONOR 8S (2020). The gadget, made in a minimalistic design, is notable for its compact dimensions by the standards of modern devices, increased storage capacity compared to its predecessor and affordable price.

The device is equipped with a 5.71-inch screen with a resolution of HD + (1520x720) pixels and an aspect ratio of 19: 9. The “core” of the device was the four-core 2.0 GHz MediaTek Helio A22 processor, manufactured using a 12-nanometer process technology.

The device has 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage: twice as much as the previous year's version. It is also possible to expand the storage to 512 GB via a microSD card. As a replacement for the fingerprint scanner, a 5 MP front-facing camera with face-unlock technology is used.

The built-in battery capacity of the device is 3020 mAh. The back of the HONOR 8S 2020 features a single 13-megapixel camera. The new product is running the Android 9 Pie operating system with a proprietary EMUI shell.
