Lenovo Legion Phone Duel received a Snapdragon 865+, side camera and two batteries

Lenovo introduced its first gaming smartphone under the Legion brand, called the Legion Phone Duel. This is the world's first device based on the flagship Snapdragon 865+ processor. It received a unique side camera for streaming, a screen with a high refresh rate, a dual battery with ultra-fast charging, and powerful stereo speakers.

Lenovo Legion Phone Duel features a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 144hz refresh rate. The screen is devoid of any cutouts, and powerful stereo speakers with Dirac Audio support are located at the top and bottom. A unique feature of the smartphone is the front camera, which is hidden inside the case and moves out along the center of the left side. This solution allows you to stream games without being afraid to cover the camera with your hand. Lenovo has provided native support for broadcasts on Twitch and YouTube with the ability to separate the streamer from the background.

The smartphone has advanced hardware, including the flagship Snapdragon 865+ processor with 5G support, 12 or 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and a 256 or 512 GB UFS 3.1 format drive. Two separate batteries with a capacity of 2500 mAh each are responsible for autonomy. There is support for 90W fast charging, allowing you to recharge 50% in 10 minutes and 100% in 30 minutes. However, for this, you need to simultaneously charge two batteries at once by connecting a cable to each of them through the corresponding USB Type-C connector. You can also charge with one cable, but in this case, it will not be as fast.

The main camera in the new product is double - with the main module at 64 MP with an f/1.89 aperture and an ultra-wide-angle at 16 MP. It is worth noting that they are located in the center of the case, so that the user does not overlap them when the smartphone is horizontal. The resolution of the retractable front camera is 20 MP.

Other features of the Lenovo Legion Phone Duel include four microphones for high-quality audio while streaming and communicating with other players, improved vibration thanks to two linear vibration motors and additional touch triggers on the side for easier control in games.

In July, Lenovo's Legion Phone Duel will go on sale in China and later reach Europe. The exact timing of the launch and price of the smartphone was not announced.
