Lenovo announces presentation date for Legion gaming smartphone
Soon after the publication of the video with the unpacking of the Legion smartphone, Lenovo posted a new teaser dedicated to the device. The official image with the date of the presentation of the gaming gadget also confirms the model of the processor, on the basis of which the productive new product will be built.
According to the publication, the company's first gaming smartphone Lenovo Legion will be presented on July 22. The device will receive a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus processor with a maximum clock speed of 3.09 GHz and Adreno 650 graphics. According to the vendor, the new chip will provide a 10 percent increase in performance compared to the base model.
The company also announced that the new product will be equipped with a proprietary heat dissipation system with 14 temperature sensors. In addition, Lenovo Legion will get an additional USB Type-C port on the side for easy charging of the device with a power supply of up to 90 W during the game.
The smartphone is credited with a display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 144 Hz, and a built-in fingerprint scanner, as well as a dual main camera with 64 and 16 MP sensors.
The manufacturer does not report the cost of the future new product.
