List of the most powerful Android smartphones in May 2020
By tradition, the developers of the popular mobile benchmark AnTuTu published a monthly rating of the most powerful smartphones. The new report shows the most productive Android devices among flagships and middle-class devices by the end of May.
The most powerful Android smartphone of the last month of spring was the OPPO Find X2 Pro in a version with 12 GB of RAM. It scored 604123 points. The second position was taken by the usual Find X2 with 8 GB of RAM, and just behind it with a minimum margin is Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro with 12 GB of RAM.
From fourth to tenth place, the following models were taken: OPPO Ace 2, iQOO Neo 3, Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition, iQOO 3, realme X50 Pro, OnePlus 8 Pro, Vivo NEX 3s 5G. Interestingly, all these smartphones use the same Snapdragon 865 processor and all of them are released by Chinese companies.
According to AnTuTu, the middle-class “king” was also the OPPO smartphone - Reno 3, built on the basis of the eight-core MediaTek Dimensity 1000L processor. In the test, it is the only one in its class that gains over 400 thousand points. In second and third place are HONOR 30 and HUAWEI nova 7, respectively. Both devices have a Kirin 985 processor.
The ranking of the most powerful mid-range smartphones also includes the HONOR 30s, HONOR X10, HUAWEI nova 7 SE, OPPO Reno 3 Pro, Vivo S6, Vivo X30 and Redmi K30 in the 5G version.
It is important to note that the AnTuTu developers do not choose the maximum score scored by a particular device, but the average value. An important requirement is also the number of tests performed to get a more accurate picture of the capabilities of each device.
