OnePlus has officially announced the release of an affordable smartphone

OnePlus smartphones have gained immense popularity, not least due to the low price, but OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro, released this year,  can hardly be called affordable. Now, the manufacturer has officially announced a new line, the emphasis in which will be made precisely on the price.

OnePlus CEO Pete Lau published an appeal to users on the company's official forum, in which he announced the launch of a new, more affordable line of smartphones.

"Never Settle has always been at the core of OnePlus. For more than 6 years, that has meant working hard to always deliver the best experience for flagship smartphone users. However, as we’ve grown together with our community, we know that there are many people who want a really solid smartphone that meets their everyday needs, and for a more accessible price." wrote Pete Lau.

He did not go into any details about the device, noting that initially, the new product will only be available in India and Europe.

According to rumors, we are talking about OnePlus 8 Lite or Z Lite. The smartphone is credited with a 6.4-inch OLED display with a hole for the front camera, a Snapdragon 765g processor, the main camera with three or even four lenses, and a 4000 mAh battery. The presentation is expected in July.
