ZTE Axon 30 Ultra: Three 64MP cameras, 144Hz screen and Snapdragon 888
ZTE Axon 30 Ultra is positioned by the manufacturer as one of the most advanced camera phones on the market. In addition to excellent photo capabilities, the device received a powerful filling with a top-end processor from Qualcomm and a high-quality screen.
At the back, there is a huge block with four cameras. Three of them have the same 64-megapixel resolution: the main one with an IMX686 sensor, an f/1.6 lens aperture, and an optical stabilization system (OIS); the "superhuman" portrait one with a 35 mm focal length and an f/1.9 aperture; and the ultra-wide-angle one with a 120-degree viewing angle. The fourth module is an 8-megapixel TV camera with OIS and a periscope lens that provides 5x optical zoom.
The smartphone supports many shooting modes like night and Super Moon Ultra. The Super Moon Ultra mode uses several cameras at once, combining images from them into one to get a high-quality image of the Moon. Supports 8K video recording at 30 frames per second.
As much as 95% of the front side area is occupied by a curved 6.67-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution and adaptive refresh rate (60, 90, 120, and 144 Hz), which automatically changes depending on the displayed content. The screen conforms to 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and supports HDR10+.
ZTE Axon 30 Ultra is built on the basis of the flagship Snapdragon 888 processor and in the top version is equipped with 12 GB of RAM and a 256 GB drive. The battery with a capacity of 4600 mAh with support for fast 66-watt wired charging is responsible for autonomy, but wireless is not provided.
The ZTE Axon 30 Pro was also presented. It has the same Snapdragon 888 processor and 6.67-inch OLED display, but without the curvature on the sides and with a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz. The main and ultra-wide-angle cameras are the same as in the "ultra", but the other two are a 5-megapixel macro camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. In addition, the battery capacity has been reduced to 4200 mAh and the maximum charging power is 55W.
The prices of smartphones and the timing of their arrival on sale have not yet been announced.
