OPPO A15s with a capacious battery and a triple camera was estimated at $156
OPPO has updated the range of branded budget smartphones with a device called OPPO A15s. Compared to its predecessor, the device has an increased amount of RAM and built-in memory, as well as advanced selfie shooting capabilities, while maintaining almost the same retail price.
OPPO A15s is equipped with a 6.52-inch IPS-screen with HD+ resolution, pixel density of 269 ppi and 60 Hz refresh rate. The display of new items with a contrast of 1500: 1 supports 71% of the NTSC color gamut and occupies 88.7% of the front surface of the device.
The smartphone is built on the basis of the MediaTek Helio P35 mobile platform, has 4 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and a 64 GB eMMC 5.1 drive with the possibility of expanding with a microSD card. The device is running the proprietary shell ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10.
The main camera of the OPPO A15s received three sensors: the main one at 13-megapixel (f/2.2), a 2-megapixel macro lens (f/2.4) and a depth sensor with a resolution of 2-megapixel. The front camera of the gadget, located in a teardrop-shaped cutout on the screen, is equipped with a single 8-megapixel sensor.
The fingerprint scanner on the rear panel is responsible for the safety of the device, and the battery with a capacity of 4230 mAh is responsible for the autonomy. The set of interfaces of the model is represented by GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5 modules, as well as micro-USB and 3.5 mm connectors.
OPPO A15s in blue and white cases will go on sale on December 21st for $156.
