realme is preparing a smartphone on an unknown Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor

A few hours before the annual Snapdragon Summit, where Qualcomm is to unveil the new flagship 5nm processor, the realme brand has announced a new smartphone. It is noteworthy that the gadget, according to multiple sources, can get the Snapdragon 888 platform.

The corresponding announcements were made by the realme press service on behalf of official divisions in India and Europe. The press service said that the brand will soon introduce a smartphone based on the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8xx chip. It is noteworthy that several insiders immediately announced the company's plans to release a gadget on the Snapdragon 888 platform, although more recently the chip was supposed to be named Snapdragon 875.

What kind of gadget realme is preparing is not disclosed. Given the flagship processor, it can be a smartphone of the X series or the new Ace line.

Earlier, Qualcomm said that representatives of Xiaomi and OnePlus will take part in the conference dedicated to the new 5-nanometer Snapdragon platform. The new product will be shown today, December 1.
