Galaxy A12 and Galaxy A02s: Samsung introduced two budget smartphones with capacious batteries
Samsung has expanded the range of branded smartphones with two gadgets: Galaxy A12 and Galaxy A02s. The features of both models are good battery life and support for fast charging, and they will differ not only in design, but also in hardware characteristics, including the camera configuration.
Both new items are equipped with 6.5-inch IPS displays with HD+ resolution and a teardrop-shaped cutout for a selfie camera. They also have 5000 mAh batteries that support 15W fast charging via a micro-USB port. The manufacturer does not disclose the smartphone processor model: judging by the published characteristics, we are talking about an eight-core MediaTek Helio P35 chip.
Samsung Galaxy A12 will come in several configurations - with 3 and 6 GB of RAM and storage from 32 to 128 GB. The rear camera of the smartphone will receive a 48-megapixel main sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle, and a pair of 2-megapixel sensors (depth sensor and a module for macro photography).
The more affordable Galaxy A02s comes in a single version with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The rear camera unit of the device includes three sensors: a 13-megapixel main, a 2-megapixel macro module, and a depth sensor with the same resolution.
Both smartphones will hit the European market early next year. Samsung Galaxy A12 in black, white, blue, and red cases will cost from €179 depending on the memory configuration. The manufacturer estimated the Galaxy A02s model in black and white color options at €150.
