POCO M3: 6000 mAh battery, Snapdragon 662, stereo speakers and price from $149
A global presentation of the new POCO M3 smartphone was held. This is an entry-level model, but the manufacturer tried to make sure that the device exceeded all the expectations of fans. The device received a large-capacity battery, a high-resolution camera, a high-performance processor, stereo speakers, and an unusual design.
The main feature of the POCO M3 is a huge 6000 mAh battery. It supports fast charging with a power of 18 W from the included adapter and, according to the manufacturer, retains its capacity for 1000 charging cycles, which is more than the standard market 800 cycles.
The smartphone has a 6.53-inch display with Full HD + resolution, covered with a tempered Gorilla Glass 3. At the top of the screen, there is a teardrop-shaped cutout for the front camera. The performance is provided by an eight-core Snapdragon 662 processor based on an 11-nm process, and 4 GB of LPDDR4x RAM. In AnTuTu, the smartphone gives out 191,161 points. For data storage, a fast UFS 2.2 drive with a capacity of up to 128 GB is provided. The hybrid slot allows you to simultaneously install a microSD memory card with a capacity of up to 512 GB and two SIM cards.
The main camera of the POCO M3 is represented by a 48-megapixel sensor, in addition to which there are two 2 megapixel modules for portrait and macro photography. Supports night mode shooting.
Other features include stereo speakers, an infrared port for controlling home appliances, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a fingerprint scanner built into the power button.
The POCO M3 will go on sale this Friday, November 27, at a special price of $129 for the 4 + 64 GB version and $149 for the 4 + 128 GB version. Starting from the 28th, the price will be $149 and $169, respectively.
