Named the technical characteristics of all versions of the Samsung Galaxy S21

Authoritative network informant Max Weinbach, previously noted for a lot of reliable insiders, posted in the public domain detailed specifications of all models of the upcoming series of Samsung Galaxy S21 smartphones. The publication includes not only data about the hardware of gadgets, but also other details, including the exact composition of the camera modules and even the body colors of each model.

According to the informant, all three devices will be based on the Snapdragon 875 or Exynos 2100 mobile platform, depending on the region of supply. In addition, upcoming new items will receive 5G modems, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 modules, and One UI 3.1 firmware based on Android 11.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will be equipped with a 6.8-inch LTPO-display with WQHD resolution and a maximum brightness of 1600 nits. The Galaxy S21 and S21+ models will receive Full HD screens made using LTPS technology with a diagonal of 6.2 and 6.7 inches, respectively. The matrix refresh rate of all new products will be 120 Hz.

The main camera modules of the base model and its Plus-version, according to the source, will receive three sensors: a pair of 12-megapixel (main and ultra-wide-angle) and a 64-megapixel zoom module. The insider attributes the Ultra modifications to the main sensor with a resolution of 108 megapixels, an ultra-wide-angle 12 megapixel, and two 10-megapixel ones equipped with telephoto lenses with different focal lengths and maximum optical zoom magnification of 10x. 

All new items will receive the function of video recording 4K @ 60 fps and 8K @ 30 fps, support for Samsung Super Steady stabilization technology, as well as the ability to simultaneously shoot on the main and front cameras. 

For the autonomy of the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra will meet the battery capacity of 4000, 4800, and 5000 mAh, respectively. It is also expected that the two older models of the line will receive support for the digital car key function as part of the SmartThings ecosystem.

The insider also shared the expected list of body colors for the upcoming products. He claims that the Galaxy S21 will be presented in purple, gray, white, and pink cases, the Galaxy S21+ will debut in silver, black and purple shades, and the Galaxy S21 Ultra will only come in two versions: black and silver. At the same time, the base model will get a plastic back cover, and the S21 Ultra will get a glass one.

The date of the presentation of the gadgets has not yet been announced by the manufacturer - according to rumors, the event will take place in January 2021.
