HUAWEI unveils MateStation B515 desktop computer with AMD processor
After a series of rumors, HUAWEI officially introduced the MateStation B515 desktop computer, information about which appeared on the company's official website. It is made in a compact package, equipped with an AMD processor, and comes with a full set of all related devices necessary for working "out of the box".
HUAWEI MateStation B515 with dimensions of 315.5 x 293 x 93 mm weighs about 4.2 kg. The front panel has USB Type-C, USB Type-A, and 3.5 mm audio ports. More ports are on the backside: 1 x HDMI, 1 x VGA, 2 x USB Type-A (USB 3.2 Gen 1), 2 x USB Type-A (USB 2.0) and 1 x RJ45. In addition, the case also has a Kensington lock that allows you to attach the device to the workplace.The "core" of the computer is the AMD Ryzen 5 4600G or Ryzen 7 4700G with integrated Radeon graphics. Earlier, there were rumors on the network about a version with an ARM processor of its own design by Kunpeng, but so far such an option has not been presented. The amount of RAM is 8 or 16 GB of type DDR4 3200 MHz. For data storage, a 256 or 512 GB M.2 NVMe SSD and a 1 TB hard drive are provided. Wireless interfaces include Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4 + 5 GHz).
The operating system is Windows 10 Home. Announced support for proprietary features, such as HUAWEI Share, allowing you to quickly share files between the company's devices and run mobile applications on your computer from your smartphone or tablet.
Together with the computer itself, a proprietary 23.8-inch IPS-monitor with Full HD resolution, a wired keyboard with a fingerprint scanner that allows you to quickly log in to the system, and a wired mouse are offered.
The price and timing of the start of deliveries of the computer have not yet been announced.
