Apple MacBook Pro 13 - Longest-Lasting MacBook Ever
Along with the new MacBook Air, Apple introduced an updated 13-inch MacBook Pro 13, which received a proprietary M1 processor. A significant increase in performance and significantly increased battery life is claimed.
Unlike the MacBook Air, the MacBook Pro continues to be actively cooled to maximize the potential of the M1 processor. Compared to the 1.7GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 MacBook Pro 13, the new MacBook Pro is 2.8x faster in CPU and up to 5x faster in graphics performance.
Switching to a proprietary processor also had a positive effect on the device's battery life. According to Apple, the new MacBook Pro 13 can work up to 17 hours of wireless Internet browsing and up to 20 hours of movie playback from the Apple TV app on a single charge - more than any other laptop from the company.
The laptop is equipped with a 13.3-inch Retina IPS screen with a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels, a Touch Bar, a Touch ID fingerprint scanner, an improved webcam, a studio-quality microphone system, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, and two USB Type-C (Thunderbolt/USB 4).
The new 13-inch Apple MacBook Pro with an M1 processor, 8 GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD will cost $1,299.00 (₹1,22,900) in the US. A configuration with a 512 GB drive will cost $1,499.00 (₹1,42,900).
