AMD Introduced Ryzen 4000 Desktop Processors With Integrated Radeon Graphics

After the release of 7-nm Ryzen 4000 processors for laptops, AMD finally introduced similar solutions designed for personal computers. They are based on the Zen 2 architecture and are equipped with built-in Radeon graphics. According to the company, the new chips have enough performance to run games even without a discrete video card.

It is important to note that these Ryzen 4000 processors are intended for OEMs who will produce ready-made solutions based on them. Thus, users who want to use the new chips in their custom builds will have to wait.

The new line includes six processors (two models each for Ryzen 7, Ryzen 5, and Ryzen 3), divided by TDP into 35 and 65 watts. According to AMD, the presented chips provide up to 2.5 times greater performance in multithreaded mode compared to the previous generation, 5% — in single-threaded mode, 31%-in multithreaded mode compared to Intel Core i7-9700, and the built-in graphics is 202% more powerful than in Intel Core i7-9700. According to the presented charts, the new Ryzen 4000 processors in all scenarios and games are superior to similar chips from Intel.

Model Kernels / threads TDP Boost frequency / base GPU Cores Cache
AMD Ryzen 7 4700G 8/16 65 watts 4.4 / 3.6 GHz 8 12 MB
AMD Ryzen 7 4700GE 8/16 35 watts 4.3 / 3.1 GHz 8 12 MB
AMD Ryzen 5 4600G 6/12 65 watts 4.2 / 3.7 GHz 7 11 MB

AMD Ryzen 3 4300GE 4/8 35 watts 4.0 / 3.5 GHz 6 6 MB

Along with the usual Ryzen 4000 desktop solutions, Ryzen Pro 4000 processors were also introduced, aimed at work in the business environment. They feature a range of technologies such as AMD Memory Guard and AMD Secure Processor to enhance user security.
