LG introduced a modular display with contactless connection technology
LG Electronics has announced the LSAA LED display, a feature of which is the ability to modular assembly to increase the diagonal. Compared with the previous solution of the line, the new product is notable for higher image quality and a reduced number of cables, which provides ease of installation.
The block design greatly simplifies the process of assembling large displays while maintaining a 16: 9 aspect ratio. The new product is designed on the basis of a hub measuring 600 x 337.5 x 44.9 mm, which provides power and signal to the entire modular screen with a resolution of up to 4K. The modules are connected via contactless proprietary connectors without the use of additional cables.
LG LSAA is powered by the LG Alpha 7 image processor, which analyzes the signal using AI algorithms. The minimum distance between the LEDs (about 0.9 mm), according to the manufacturer, allows you to achieve high-quality images even when viewing at a short distance.
“Our LSAA series sets a new standard for LED signage solutions in the commercial display market,” said Paik Ki-mun, senior vice president and head of the Information Display business unit of LG Electronics Business Solutions Company. “Innovation in products such as the LSAA enables LG to lead the LED signage industry with superb picture quality, enhanced ease of installation and unbeatable value,” said Paik Ki-mun, Senior Vice President and Head of Display Information, LG Electronics.
The proprietary mount kit allows you to create displays of various configurations in accordance with the requirements of users. With easy installation and expandability, the LSAA can be quickly mounted and reconfigured.
The LG LSAA modular display will go on sale in this month, the cost of new items will be announced later.
