NVIDIA Discontinues RTX 2060 Series Graphics Cards
Graphics card manufacturer NVIDIA continues to promote its new line of RTX 30 series graphics accelerators, discontinuing production of what the company believes is outdated. Following the RTX 2080 and RTX 2070, NVIDIA discontinued the production of two more video adapters.
We are talking about the RTX 2060 and RTX 2060 Super models, the last batch of which was produced in November 2020. According to NVIDIA, the company should focus on the release of new graphics accelerators RTX 30 series.
It is expected that within a few weeks the RTX 2060 will still be available for sale, as NVIDIA has managed to form a small stock of video cards. At the same time, the company can act selectively, making deliveries not to all partners.
Buyers looking at graphics cards in the lower price range will have to choose between the yet to be announced RTX 3050 and RTX 3050 Ti models. At the same time, according to analysts, the GTX 16 or GTX 1600 series will not be produced either.
