Among the companies that will receive the Snapdragon 888 first are ASUS, Lenovo, LG, Meizu, Shap, vivo, Xiaomi, ZTE, Nubia, OnePlus, OPPO, Motorola, Lenovo, Black Shark, realme. These brands were listed by Qualcomm during the presentation of the flagship chip.

After the conference, Qualcomm President Cristiano Amon also noted that the company is delighted to have the HONOR brand on the market as an independent vendor.

"This will bring more consumer potential to the market, and customers will love it. I love the vitality of the Chinese mobile phone market and hope HONOR can offer more good products. But now everything has just begun, and we will still have a dialogue," said the head of the company.

The next major release of HONOR should be the flagship smartphone V40. The gadget, which is scheduled for release in the second quarter of 2021, is rumored to get a Snapdragon 888 processor, but there is no official confirmation of this information yet.

The head of Qualcomm also recalled that the company has already received a license to supply 4G chips for HUAWEI, but in the future expects to license 5G platforms to sell them to a Chinese manufacturer.
