NVIDIA announced the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics card
NVIDIA confirmed the imminent release of a new mid-range video card called GeForce RTX 3060 Ti. On the eve of the full-scale presentation, the company published a slide with the results of internal testing of the new product, comparing it with the model of the previous generation — RTX 2080 SUPER.
Judging by the image, the video cards, each equipped with 8 GB of video memory, were tested in combination with an Intel Core i9-10900K processor with a display resolution of 12x1440 pixels. According to NVIDIA, the superiority of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti over the graphics accelerator of the Turing family is on average about 40%. At the same time, the bandwidth of the new product is 15.5 Gbit/s against 14 Gbit/s for last year's GPU.
It is expected that the retail price of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti will be about $400. NVIDIA has not yet declassified the detailed specifications of its "budget" and did not name the date of the presentation, but, according to rumors, the event will take place on December 2 this year.
