An insider spoke about the performance of the new MediaTek flagship
Authoritative network informant Digital Chat Station has published new details related to the upcoming release of the mobile platform MediaTek. According to the insider, the MT689X processor will join the brand's flagship chip series and will allow smartphones based on it to gain more than 600,000 points in the popular AnTuTu benchmark.
According to the informant's report, the new product will be manufactured using a 6-nm process technology, and in terms of architecture, it will be very similar to Samsung Exynos 1080. The Mali G77 video accelerator is supposed to be responsible for the graphical capabilities of the platform.
The Exynos 1080 processor, which will be announced later, has already been seen in the AnTuTu database, where it managed to score 693,000 points, surpassing the Snapdragon 865 Plus. It is expected that the MediaTek chip in terms of performance will be close to the same indicators. At the same time, the company is rumored to be positioning the MT689X as a solution for smartphones in the price range of about $ 300. The date of the appearance of the first models based on the novelty has not been reported.
