LG released Free HBS-FN6 and HBS-FN4 true wireless earbuds
LG has announced the release of two models of fully wireless headphones in the Tone Free line: HBS-FN6 and HBS-FN4. They support the surround sound technology developed by Meridian Audio, a voice assistant, and can work up to 18 hours. In addition, the new features have an automatic bacteria removal function.
The headphones are compact in size and made in the form factor of the in-ear plugs with replaceable silicone earbuds. This solution allows you to filter out most of the external noise, but thanks to the Ambient Sound function and the presence of external microphones, the user can hear all the surrounding sounds if necessary.
New items were developed in conjunction with the company Meridian Audio, from which the headphones got proprietary surround sound technology.
Both models of headphones support several playback modes developed by Meridian, each of which has four unique equalizers presets: natural, spatial, bass boost, and clear vocals.
According to LG, from a single charge, the headphones can work up to 6 hours in audio playback and up to 5 hours in talk mode on the phone. The complete case provides three full charges, which together give up to 18 hours of listening to music. In addition, it supports the fast charging function, which allows you to get an extra hour of battery life in just 5 minutes of recharging.
A unique feature of the older model HBS-FN6 was the self-cleaning function during charging. In the UVnano branded case, the headphones are treated with ultraviolet radiation, which allows you to destroy 99.9% of bacteria of E. coli and staphylococcus. According to LG, silicone earbuds can store more germs than on a kitchen cutting board, which can cause ear infections.
New items will go on sale in Europe next month. Prices will be announced later.
