Razer releases wireless variants of the DeathAdder V2 mouse and BlackWidow V3 keyboard

22 September 2020, Tuesday By Priyanka Boruah

Razer has announced the DeathAdder V2 Pro, a wireless version of one of its most popular mice. Together with it, they presented a wireless modification of the BlackWidow V3 mechanical keyboard called BlackWidow V3 Pro. Both new items support proprietary HyperSpeed Wireless latency reduction technology and have impressive battery life.

DeathAdder V2 Pro

Razer DeathAdder V2 Pro supports three connection modes: Bluetooth with 120 hours of battery life; 2.4 GHz with HyperSpeed Wireless latency reduction technology with 70 hours of operation; using the Razer Speedflex charging cable. The mouse uses a Razer Focus + optical sensor with 20,000 dpi and 99.6% resolution accuracy, and its weight is only 88 grams.

Under the main buttons, Razer's updated second-generation optical switches are used to provide clearer clicks. They are designed for 70 million clicks, and this is the best indicator among all gaming mice on the market. Each of the eight programmable DeathAdder V2 Pro buttons can be configured using the proprietary Razer Synapse 3 utility with the ability to create up to five profiles.

BlackWidow V3 Pro

BlackWidow V3 Pro is Razer's first wireless keyboard for gamers. It is made in a metal case with wear-resistant Doubleshot ABS buttons. The company has used its proprietary yellow switches with silicone shock absorbers to reduce click noise and a new transparent case for a brighter glow of the Razer Chroma lighting. According to the manufacturer, each switch is rated for 80 million clicks.

The keyboard is equipped with dedicated multimedia keys and a multifunctional numeric keypad, as well as a soft wrist rest for comfort during long gaming sessions or long typing. Like the DeathAdder V2 Pro, the new BlackWidow V3 Pro supports three connection methods: Bluetooth, Razer HyperSpeed Wireless, or a detachable USB Type-C cable. This allows you to connect the keyboard to three devices at once. A full charge lasts 192 hours of continuous use.

Razer DeathAdder V2 Pro and BlackWidow V3 Pro are available today for $129.99 / €149.99 and $229.99 / €249.99 respectively.
