Google develops Series One - equipment for video communication in conference rooms
Google has partnered with Lenovo to develop Series One video conference room equipment. This line uses artificial intelligence technologies and consists of
- conventional or intelligent camera,
- touch screen controller,
- computing system,
- intelligent soundbar.
According to the company, cameras can automatically frame meeting participants and determine how many people are in the room, without using face recognition technology. Soundbar Smart Audio Bar is equipped with eight microphones and is able to amplify the human voice and filter out unwanted sounds using TrueVoice technology.
The entire setup is powered by a Google Meet computing system based on Chrome OS.
According to Google, the kits will be available for pre-order "soon." Series One for a small hall will cost $2699, for a medium hall - $2999, for a large hall - $3999.
The equipment will be available in two colors: charcoal black and white chalk.
