Xiaomi introduced two new TVs Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition
Xiaomi has released two new TV models at once in the Horizon Edition line. The devices received 32-inch and 43-inch screen sizes and are positioned as successors to the Mi TV 4A Pro with one key feature - thinner bezels around the display.
The main difference between the 32-inch and 43-inch Mi TV 4A models is in the display resolution: 1366x768 and 1920x1080 pixels, respectively, and the younger model lacks an S/PDIF port. The rest of the characteristics are identical.
The "core" of the TVs is a quad-core Amlogic Cortex A54 processor with a Mali-450 MP3 GPU. Onboard gadgets have 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory. The operating system is Android TV version 9.0 Pie with a proprietary PatchWall launcher. By default, services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar are available on the TV.
The new items have built-in support for the Chromecast standard, the Google Assistant voice assistant, and the Google Data Saver service. A feature of the models also became the use of the Mi Quick Wake technology, thanks to which a cold start of the TV takes place in just five seconds. A system consisting of two 10 W speakers with support for DTS-HD technology is responsible for the sound of the new products. As for the connection interfaces, the TVs are equipped with three HDMI ports, two USB, Ethernet, AV, an antenna input, and a 3.5 mm audio port.
The cost of the younger model Mi TV 4A 32 Horizon Edition is $184. For the 43-inch version of the TV, the company has set a price tag of $313. New items will go on sale from September 11 and 14, respectively.
