GoPro Hero 9 Black Action Camera Specifications Published Before The Announcement
A week ago, the network lit up high-quality renderings of the yet-to-be-announced action camera GoPro Hero 9 Black, showing an updated display for shooting video vlogs and selfies. A little later, almost all the key features of the model became known — as it turned out, it will get a number of new features compared to its predecessor.
According to network sources, the camera will be equipped with a 20-megapixel sensor capable of recording video in 5K resolution at 30 frames per second, as well as slow-mo (240 fps). In addition, the device is credited with supporting HyperSmooth 3.0 technology, which makes the image smoother. It is rumored that the GoPro Hero 9 will also be able to take photos in RAW format.
Insiders report that the accessory will get the TimeWarp 3.0 function for recording time-lapse videos with stabilization and the ability to conduct live broadcasts in 1080p resolution. As for the battery, compared to the previous model, the GoPro Hero 9 Black will increase its capacity by 41% to 1720 mAh.
Judging by the published images, the packaging of the gadget will also be updated — the action camera will be delivered in a hard case, which will later serve as a carrier for the device. In addition to the battery and case, the package will include screw and glue mounts, a standard belt, and a USB to USB Type-C cable. The start date and price of the device are still unknown.
