Xiaomi introduced a smart head massager
On the site Xiaomi Youpin launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for the smart Momoda massager. The gadget features a futuristic appearance and simultaneous massage of three zones at once.
The gadget is made in the form of a helmet, inside which there are special 3D pillows. Seven convex heads of the massager are able to massage several areas at once: the head, neck, and eyes. It is noteworthy that the heads are placed opposite the acupuncture points, so the massage helps to stimulate the brain and improve blood circulation in the body.
During eye massage, the pillows are heated to a temperature of 40 °C, so that not only physical impact is carried out, but also thermal, similar to a hot compress. According to the developers of Momoda, this massage relieves the feeling of dryness, pain, and also helps to reduce tension in the eyes.
Massage of the neck area is performed by pulses: a special pillow can vibrate with a frequency of up to 200 micro-shocks per minute. This area is also warmed up by an improvised compressor with a temperature of 40° C. The Momoda massager is part of The Mijia smart home ecosystem and provides a choice of any of the four modes, as well as fine-tuning from the proprietary mobile app.
The gadget can work independently thanks to the built-in battery with a capacity of 2400 mAh, which is enough for 6-8 sessions. The cost of the new product is $117.
