Samsung introduced 130-inch 4K laser projector with HDR10+ support
For fans of a really big picture, Samsung has introduced two ultra-short-focus laser 4K projectors as part of the Premiere line. In addition, one of them became the world's first projector with support for the HDR10+ standard.
LSP7T and LSP9T are capable of projecting 4K resolution up to 120 and 130 inches, respectively. The LSP9T is HDR10 + certified and triple laser technology achieves superior contrast and brightness up to 2800 ANSI lumens.
For Premiere models, there is support for a special mode called Filmmaker Mode, which allows for the first time on a projector to get a picture the way the director intended. Samsung Smart TV is used as a software platform, providing access to a variety of streaming services and support for connecting a smartphone with the ability to broadcast images to a large screen.
The projectors can be placed directly in front of a wall or screen. According to the manufacturer, thanks to the fabric finish on the edges, they will easily fit into any interior. They also have powerful built-in bass speakers with surround sound.
New products will appear later this year in various markets, including Europe. The price of the projectors has not yet been announced.
