The new product is based on a six-core 14-nm Qualcomm processor and supports two frequency bands (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz) with two and four dedicated antennas, respectively, as well as the modern Wi-Fi 6 standard with a bandwidth of up to 2976 Mbit/s. According to the manufacturer, the router has a high resistance to interference, support for the LDPC error correction algorithm, and the OFDMA standard, which reduces the connection delay even when connecting eight devices to the Internet at the same time.

The device supports MU-MIMO 2x2 (160 MHz) and 4x4 (80 MHz) modes without the need for manual switching. Redmi AX6 is compatible with hybrid networks and can work in the same wireless network with earlier models of branded routers, including Xiaomi AX1800, AX3600 and Redmi AX5.

The cost of new items in China is $57.
