Xiaomi introduced a smart aquarium with an automatic feeder
In the era of popularization of smart electronics, Xiaomi aims to integrate the ability to control from a smartphone in almost all gadgets. Another new product of the Chinese electronics manufacturer is a smart aquarium, which has an automatic feed function.
The gadget was developed jointly with Yuanyibai Technology and has dimensions of 382 x 166 x 229 mm. The aquarium body is made of acrylic glass, as well as durable engineering ABS plastic. The highlight of the new product is a 360° panoramic view - the contents of the aquarium can be seen from any point due to the use of transparent panels.
In order for the gadget to become a decoration for the design of any apartment or room, the manufacturer has equipped it with LED backlighting that can display up to 1600 different shades. The aquarium is controlled via Wi-Fi using a special Mijia mobile application - a full-fledged hub for the Xiaomi smart home.
In addition to automatic feeding with a minimum dosage of 0.3 grams, the aquarium has a filtration system that can completely purify the water in just a few minutes. At the same time, the system operates from a voltage of only 5 volts, which allows you to power the aquarium even from a portable battery.
The cost of the new product is €43 for the modification without the smart feeder and €48 for the version with it. The first deliveries are scheduled for September 5, after the successful completion of the campaign on the crowdfunding platform Youpin.
