TP-Link introduced many new routers with Wi-Fi 6 support

TP-Link introduced home routers with Wi-Fi 6 support. Users can choose from the Archer AX20, Archer AX11000, Deco X20, and Deco X60 models, each of which has unique features and is focused on performing different tasks.

Archer AX20

Archer AX20

TP-Link Archer AX20 is an entry-level dual-band Wi-Fi 6 router. It is equipped with a 1.5GHz quad-core processor based on a Broadcom solution for minimal latency. Thanks to OFDMA technology, the model guarantees high-quality Wi-Fi signal for multiple devices without interruption. Support for 1024-QAM provides 40% faster 5GHz maximum speed over Wi-Fi 5.

Archer AX20 has a USB port, allowing you to share files over your home network or set up your own cloud storage (provided you use an external IP address). The new router supports advanced WPA3 encryption, which prevents brute-force attacks.

Archer AX11000

Archer AX11000

Archer AX11000 has a Quad-core Broadcom processor running at 1.8 GHz and 1 GB of RAM. The router provides 12-line Wi-Fi with a total speed of up to 10,756 Mbit/s: 4804 Mbit/s (5 GHz for gaming) + 4804 Mbit/s (5 GHz) + 1148 Mbit/s (2.4 GHz). The game accelerator detects and optimizes game data streams while maintaining high network speed. The device is also equipped with one 2.5 Gbit/s WAN port and eight Gigabit LAN ports.

HomeCare security system based on Trend Micro allows you to keep your game accounts and documents safe. The channel aggregation function, as well as the presence of USB 3.0 type-A and Type-C ports, will allow you to connect different data drives to your home network without compromising performance.

Deco X20 and X60

Deco X20 and X60

Deco X20 and X60 are home Wi-Fi mesh systems designed to eliminate weak signal areas. While conventional routers distribute Wi-Fi from one point, Mesh systems have several of them (depending on the number of modules installed). The device connected to the Internet cable is the main one, and the secondary ones receive and retransmit the signal from the main one (via Wi-Fi 6 or Ethernet cable) without reducing the bandwidth.

Deco modules form a single network with one name and support for seamless roaming. Any device such as a smartphone or tablet will automatically connect to the point with the best signal. IEEE 802.11k / v / r support allows seamless switching from one Deco to another, even while streaming.

Deco X20

Deco X20 with Wi-Fi 6 support provides speeds up to 1800 Mbps: up to 1201 Mbps on 5 GHz and up to 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. OFDMA and MU-MIMO technologies quadruple the bandwidth to transmit data to a large number of devices simultaneously. Deco X20 can connect more than 150 gadgets without sacrificing performance.

Deco X60 Wi-Fi 6 Home Mesh System delivers speeds up to 3000 Mbps: up to 2402 Mbps on 5 GHz and up to 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. Three modules guarantee network coverage up to 650 m² and two modules up to 460 m².
