Xiaomi introduced its flagship OLED TV Mi TV Master
Representatives of Xiaomi have repeatedly stressed that they plan to compete for a place in the sun flagship TVs with brands such as Samsung, Sony, and LG. The company's pioneer in the premium segment was a model called Mi TV Master: it is notable not only for its design but also for its advanced technical characteristics.
Xiaomi Mi TV Master received a 65-inch OLED matrix with a resolution of 4K and a refresh rate of 120 Hz that occupies 98.8% of the area of the front panel. In addition to DC Dimming, which reduces flickering, the 1-MS matrix supports HDR and Dolby Vision standards with 10-bit color depth and 98.5% coverage of the DCI-P3 gamut, as well as a special game mode.
The TV uses dynamic scene recognition technology with automatic adjustment of image parameters, which is controlled by AI algorithms. The "core" of Mi TV Master is the MediaTek MTK9650 processor with support for the Mali G52 MC1 graphics chip, 3 GB of RAM, and 32 GB of internal memory. The new product is running under the brand firmware based on Android TV.
The TV is equipped with two 12-watt speakers, as well as an active 20-watt subwoofer. To control the device, remote control with a Bluetooth module and voice input function is included. To connect an external signal source in high resolution, the TV case has HDMI 2.1 ports.
Xiaomi Mi TV Master has become the most expensive device in the brand line - its price in terms of Chinese currency is $1840.
