OnePlus TV 55U1, OnePlus TV 32Y1 and OnePlus TV 43Y1 - OnePlus introduced a line of low-cost TVs on Android TV
As part of the online broadcast, OnePlus introduced three new TVs. The company's line has been expanded with three models with different sizes. So, TV 55U1 became the more affordable version of the flagship TV 55 Q1, and for those who do not need a large diagonal, 32-inch TV 32Y1 and 43-inch TV 43Y1 were shown. Combines all three new products with high-quality image and affordable price.
OnePlus TV 55U1 received a 55-inch LED matrix with 4K resolution. The manufacturer is particularly proud of the fact that the screen covers 93% of the DCI-P3 color space, which is more than all competitors. The TV also supports various HDR standards, including HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG. The proprietary Gamma Engine technology paired with a MEMC chip improves image quality by eliminating noise, increasing contrast, and making colors richer.
For the sound in the TV 55U1 model, 2 speakers and 2 tweeters with a total power of 30 watts are responsible. There is support for Dolby Atmos, Dolby Audio and DTS-HD surround sound technologies.
OnePlus TV 32Y1 is equipped with a 32-inch LED panel with a resolution of 1366x768 pixels, and TV 43Y1 has a 43-inch LED panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. As with TV 55U1, the screens in these TVs correspond to 93% of the DCI-P3 color space.
The younger models do not support HDR, but use proprietary Gamma Engine algorithms to improve image quality in real-time. A pair of 10-watt speakers are responsible for the sound in them.
All three TVs are running Android TV 9.0 with proprietary OnePlus software. In particular, the system has a preinstalled gallery, file manager, and weather applications. Also, all three models support control via the OnePlus Connect mobile application, which allows you to type text from your smartphone, search for content, control playback and perform other actions without using the remote control.
The TVs will go on sale on July 5, but so far only in India. OnePlus TV 55U1 costs $669, TV 43Y1 was priced at $308, and for TV 32Y1 the manufacturer asks for only $174. There is no information about availability in other regions.
